இந்திய தனித்துவ அடையாள ஆணையத்தின் புதிய அதிநவீன ஆதார் சேவை மையம் கோயம்புத்தூரில் இன்று தொடங்கப்பட்டு செயல்பாட்டுக்கு வந்துள்ளது. ஓய்வு பெற்ற சுங்கத்துறை கண்காணிப்பாளர், இந்திய தனித்துவ அடையாள ஆணைய பெங்களூரு மண்டல அலுவலகத்தின் இயக்குநர், இம்மையத்தின் அன்றாட செயல்பாடுகளை நிர்வகிக்கவுள்ள நிறுவனத்தின் பிரதிநிதிகள் ஆகியோர் முன்னிலையில் இந்த புதிய மையம் தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
இந்த மையத்தில் புதிய பதிவு, ஆதார் விவரங்கள் திருத்தம், பயோமெட்ரிக் புதுப்பித்தல், குறை தீர்ப்பு ஆகிய சேவைகளை தடையின்றி வழங்குவதற்காக எட்டு செயல்பாட்டு அமைப்புகள் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளன. பொது விடுமுறை நாட்கள் தவிர அனைத்து நாட்களிலும் இந்த மையம் செயல்படும். வழக்கமான பரிவர்த்தனைகளைக் கையாள்வதுடன், ஆதார் பயனாளிகளின் குறைகளை நேரடியாகப் பெற்று பிராந்திய அலுவலகம் மூலம் தீர்த்து வைக்கவும் இந்த மையம் வழிவகை செய்கிறது.
இன்று கோயம்புத்தூரில் புதிய மையம் தொடங்கப்பட்டதன் மூலம் தமிழகத்தில் இதுவரை ஏழு ஆதார் சேவை மையங்கள் செயல்பாட்டிற்கு வந்துள்ளன. இனி வரும் நாட்களில் பல்வேறு மாவட்டங்களில் மேலும் 23 மையங்களைத் தொடங்க திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கான சக்கர நாற்காலி வசதி, கழிவறை வசதிகளுடன் இந்த மையம் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) today operationalised a new state-of-the-art Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) in Coimbatore, marking another step towards strengthening resident-centric services in the city. The new centre was inaugurated by a retired Superintendent of Customs (Senior Citizen) in the presence of the Director, UIDAI Regional Office Bengaluru, alongside other senior officials and representatives from M/s Protean eGov Technologies Limited, which will manage daily operations.The Coimbatore ASK is equipped with eight operational kits to provide seamless enrolment, demographic and biometric updates, and grievance redressal under one roof. The centre is functional on all days except public holidays, ensuring greater accessibility and convenience. In addition to handling regular transactions, the ASK will directly receive grievances from cardholders for resolution through the Regional Office.With this launch, UIDAI has operationalised seven ASKs in Tamil Nadu, with 23 more planned across various districts in the coming days. The new centre is designed to be fully inclusive and resident-friendly, featuring wheelchair access and accessible restrooms.
